Return & Refund Policy

At CoreKit, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your rights and our process for returns, exchanges, and refunds. This policy is compliant with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

1. Return Window

You may initiate a return within 7 days of delivery of your order. The 7-day period begins from the date the product is delivered to the address specified in your order, as confirmed by our logistics partner's tracking record.

Returns initiated after the 7-day window will not be accepted, except in cases of manufacturing defects covered under warranty.

2. Eligible Reasons for Return

We accept returns for the following reasons:

  • Product received is damaged or defective
  • Product received is different from what was ordered (wrong item, wrong size, wrong colour)
  • Product is incomplete or missing components
  • Product is expired or near expiry (for consumables)
  • Product does not match the description on the listing

Change-of-mind returns are accepted at our discretion, subject to the product being unused, in its original packaging, and with all tags intact. A restocking fee of up to 10% may apply for change-of-mind returns.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following categories are not eligible for return:

  • Perishable goods (food, fresh produce)
  • Personal care and hygiene products once opened (razors, skincare, undergarments)
  • Digital goods, software licences, and gift cards once redeemed
  • Customised or personalised products
  • Products that have been used, washed, or altered
  • Hazardous materials

4. How to Initiate a Return

You can initiate a return through any of the following channels within the 7-day window:

Option A — Via Website (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your account at corekit.store
  2. Go to My Orders and select the relevant order
  3. Click Request Return and select the items and reason
  4. Upload photos of the product if it is damaged or defective
  5. Submit — you will receive a confirmation email with a Return Reference Number

Option B — Via Email

Email returns@store.com with your Order ID, the item(s) you wish to return, the reason, and photos (if applicable). Our team will respond within 48 hours with return instructions.

5. Pickup & Shipping

  • For eligible returns, we will arrange a pickup from your delivery address at no additional cost within 3–5 business days of return approval.
  • If a pickup is not available at your pin code, you may be requested to self-ship the product to our fulfilment centre. In such cases, shipping charges up to ₹150 will be reimbursed via store credit.
  • Products must be packed securely in their original packaging (or equivalent) to avoid damage in transit. Refunds may be denied if items are received in a damaged condition due to improper packing.

6. Refund Process & Timeline

Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will notify you of the outcome within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed as follows:

Timeline refers to business days from the date of return inspection approval. Actual credit to your account may depend on your bank's processing time.

7. Exchanges

We currently offer exchanges for size or colour variants of the same product, subject to availability. To request an exchange, follow the same return initiation process and select "Exchange" as the resolution. If the requested variant is unavailable, a full refund will be processed instead.

8. Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order before it is dispatched for shipping. To cancel:

  • Go to My Orders, select the order, and click Cancel Order.
  • Or email support@store.com with your Order ID.

Cancellation requests for orders already dispatched will be treated as a return once the product is delivered. A full refund will be issued for successfully cancelled orders within 5–7 business days.
